Review:
On Dublin Street is a beautifully
written adult contemporary romance. The main character is Jocelyn
(Joss), a 22 year-old woman who is doing anything she can to forget
her tragic past. She is afraid to lose anyone else that she cares
about, so she distances herself from people to keep from caring about
anybody.
Joss has many issues and is incredibly
stubborn and infuriating. She meets a man named Braden, and they have
an instant attraction. No matter how much she wants to be with him,
she refuses because she doesn't want to be in a relationship. You
will want to yell at her throughout the book because of the decisions
she makes. Braden is a very successful and handsome man. He also has
some past issues but he isn't as broken as Joss. He is determined to
win her heart and comes up with an interesting arrangement that Joss
agrees to. Let me just say that you will be fanning yourself while
reading this. It's very intense and sexy.
The background characters were really
interesting. I loved reading about Braden's sister Ellie and his
friend Adam. There was a lot of sexual tension between them. Overall,
the storyline was interesting and I really enjoyed it. It was a very
emotional ride. I recommend this to anyone who loved 50 Shades of
Gray, or anyone who just loves sexy, emotional romances.
